The World Famous Clown Motel and it's team continually strive to bring all of our guests an enjoyable experience. Please take the time to read the below policies which all of our guests are required to agree to before placing a reservation online.

RESERVATION POLICY

CHECK-IN TIME - 03:00 PM | CHECK-OUT TIME - 11:00 AM LATE CHECK OUT IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY AND POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL CHARGES.

RESERVATIONS / BOOKING

  1. 100% payment is due at the time of booking. Reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card when you reserve. Blackout dates and conditions apply.
  2. Guests must be at least 21 years old to reserve a room. Guests under 21 years of age must be accompanied by an adult over 21 to stay in the motel.
  3. For security purposes, please provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID at check-in.
  4. Room types cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability.
  5. Paranormal experiences are not guaranteed under any circumstances and no refunds will be issued.
  6. No refunds will be issued once the guest has checked in to The Clown Motel.

LATE CHECK-IN - AFTER 11:00 PM (PST)

The office/front desk closes at 11:00 PM (PST), for late check-in please contact us prior to arrival in order to make arrangements. Office/Front Desk hours are 8:30 AM - 11:00 PM (PST). Unplanned late check-in's will be subject to additional charges and are not guaranteed as the Front Desk is not 24/7.

SMOKING

The Clown Motel is a smoke free environment. Please note that a minimum fee of $250.00 will be charged if smoke is detected in any of the guest rooms. Smoking is permitted outside and on the terrace.

ONSITE FACILITIES

Onsite facilities including outdoor grills may be used but are solely at the guest's risk and must be cleaned after use.

PARKING

The Clown Motel has a parking lot with ample number of spaces; however, these spaces cannot be reserved in advance and are subject to availability. The management cannot accept responsibility for, theft, loss or damage of property or vehicles using The Clown Motel parking lot.

CURRENT RENOVATION WORK

The Clown Motel will make every effort to make your stay both comfortable and enjoyable, however due to the age of the motel and renovation work currently being undertaken you may experience issues with maintenance that are not up to our regular high standards, so please keep this in mind at the time of booking as we cannot issue refunds for this reason.

PETS

Pets are permitted to our 04 Pet Friendly rooms only, which are identified clearly on each room booking type. Only 02 pets are allowed without any charges, 03rd pet is allowed with an additional charge of $20. Maximum 03 pets are allowed in each Pet friendly room. Under any circumstances, pets are not allowed in any other room category. Please be considerate of other guests when walking pets on the property and clean up after your pet, failure to do so may result in additional charges.

EMF READER RENTALS

All EMF Reader rentals are subject to a $45.00 refundable deposit payable upon collection, the renter acknowledges that failure to return the equipment rented in the same condition it was received or total failure to return the equipment will result in the deposit being forfeited.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. All reservation cancellations within 07 days from the day you made your reservation(s), depending on the reserved room category, you will get an 80% refund. Due to high demand, a 50% fee will be charged for all cancellations, between 07 days after booking date & 07 days prior to your arrival date.
  2. Failure to notify us 07 days prior to your arrival or if you simply do not check-in, you will be charged for the booking amount plus tax.
  3. To avoid cancellation fee, you can reschedule your booking by informing us maximum 24 hours prior to arrival. You may contact The Clown Motel directly or Write an Email to reschedule your booking. You can reschedule your booking thrice up to 1 year for no extra charge. Rescheduled booking will have no refund value. Your refund will be reflected within 2-3 days after receiving the request. CLICK HERE for the online cancellation form.

Subject to room availability

The Clown Motel also offers refunds in the form of a digital coupon with the sole purpose to allow our guests to rebook their stay at their convenience to the value of the original booking, these digital coupons have no cash value and are only valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Digital Coupons must be used in one single transaction and any balance not spent will be lost.  Digital coupons must not be sold or transferred to other guests under any circumstances.

EARLY DEPARTURES

The Clown Motel does not issue refunds for early departures, that means you will be charged for the entire duration of your reservation. In some instances, such as a critical room issue that could not be remedied, you may be issued an immediate partial refund of up to 50% of the booking, however this is at the managers discretion.

MEDIA / FILMING POLICY
 
  1. The Clown Motel, Tonopah reserves the right to refuse or limit any activity associated with filming and photography, if we believe it is offensive, personally offensive, defamatory, abusive, obscene, upsetting, menacing, threatening, harassing, and pornographic or nudity, the use of drugs, of an adult or sexual nature or is in any way unsuitable for persons under 18 years of age.
  2. The applicant understands that any trademarks, trade names or logos are the property of The Clown Motel, Tonopah and must not be used in any manner without prior consent. The applicant agrees not to photograph, film or use any material that is copyright, or which infringes the intellectual property rights of any person.
  3. The applicant shall provide evidence of an insurance policy to cover any loss, damage, accident or injury of whatsoever nature and howsoever sustained or occasioned, and whether to property or persons arising directly or indirectly from the use or occupation of the company's property by the applicant, its agents, servants or invitees or contractors and this must be sighted by the General Manager prior to the filming taking place.
  4. The applicant shall make every endeavor to reduce any inconvenience that may be caused to The Clown Motel, employees, guests, residents and others at the workplace as a result of filming or photography. The Clown Motel employees, guests, residents and others shall have the right of unrestricted access at all times.
  5. The areas used for filming or photography shall be left clean, tidy and undamaged at the completion of the event.
  6. The applicant, its agents, servants, invitees or contractors must sign in at the front desk prior to filming /photography at The Clown Motel.
  7. The applicant shall ensure that any electrical equipment brought onto the premises is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's directions and has been tested in accordance with legal requirements.
  8. The applicant must comply with all Occupational Health and Safety and Environment Legislation and take all reasonable precautions to identify workplace risks and implement appropriate control measures to prevent injury or illness to any person, actual or material harm to the environment or damage to any property upon or in the vicinity of The Clown Motel.
  9. The applicant agrees to report all injuries sustained at The Clown Motel within 24 hours of the injury becoming known, in a format acceptable to The Clown Motel, Tonopah.
